About Cindy
Cindy is one of ten children. Born in Heidelburg, Germany, and raised in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. She has loved sailing and photography since she was a young girl, and has enjoyed photographing people and sports events since then. She has two sons who also compete in sailing. Her professional studies in photography were done at Rice University and the Glassell School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.

The idea of RACEBOOK-US came about in 2008 when Cindy saw an untapped need for a customized keepsake that would endure long after an event was over. The many action events taking place in amazing venues across the globe provide the ideal opportunity for Cindy to combine her love of the water with her talent in sports photography.

The RACEBOOK is a visual documentary of some of the most memorable times in our lives, and quickly becomes a treasure for all involved. Sailors around the world now have the opportunity to enjoy professional images capturing their adventures in a new and exiting way. Along with the RACEBOOK of their events, sailors will receive a DVD or CD with high resolution images taken of their boat during that event.

After 16 years as a professional fine portrait photographer, Cindy felt the pull to branch out. As a lifelong competitive sailor, and US Sailing’s Women’s Championship, Adams Cup Winner, Cindy understands the fun, drama, work, trials and joy of competitive sailing. As a career photographer, she has the ability to capture all of those emotions and put them into print.
